“We are the kids our parents warned us about,” reads the profile of a WhatsApp group created by an alleged gang of teenage children in Polokwane, Limpopo.
The “maDhura squad”, six members of which are in custody after being implicated in the killing of musician and student Thorisho Themani in Flora Park, is known for wearing pricey clothing brands, gathering at the weekends to flash cash and drink expensive alcohol.
