#Cleanupchallenge: The Twitter initiative that is actually making a difference

Tweeps are known to be a creative and hilarious bunch who can turn any trending topic into a challenge and make it top the platform's trends list. But this time, there's a challenge that is making a difference.
#Cleaupchallenge means that Tweeps post pictures of themselves in parts of their communities which need some cleaning up and caption them "before" and post the "after" picture of the same area after it has been cleaned up.
More and more are heeding the call, cleaning up littered beaches, roads and parks.
Here are some of the pictures from the challenge as well as reactions to it:

#homeschool #community #Cleanupchallenge we regularly clean this park, today was low tide so we were able to get pretty deep. Can’t believe those bags of trash were just at the waters edge! We saw more trash coming down the inlet as we finished up. 😰 pic.twitter.com/H3OOw1fHIY
