As  #WoolworthsWaterChallenge dominated social media this week, politicians, celebrities and South Africans have taken part by posting their attempts at the challenge.

#Woolworthswaterchallenge trended after a group of young men posted a video of themselves drinking Woolworths-branded water, which prompted them to change their accents after taking a sip. 

The  video now has more than 6,500 retweets and 39,000 views on Twitter.
