A satellite police station in Alra Park in Nigel, Gauteng, was set alight on Friday morning as residents took to the streets to protest about the allocation of recently built houses in the area.
Gauteng police spokesperson Capt Mavela Masondo could not immediately comment on the incident, saying such issues were dealt with by the police's national office, which had yet to issue a statement by 11.30am.
