Durban man gunned down in apparent hijacking

A Durban man has died following a shooting incident in the suburb of Reservoir Hills on Saturday.
Rescue Care spokesman Garrith Jamieson said paramedics deployed to the scene found that the man had suffered a gunshot wound to his chest.
It appears the man was a victim of a hijacking.
"Advanced life support paramedics performed resuscitation efforts for a period of time but unfortunately the man succumbed to his injuries," said Jamieson.
He said police were investigating the incident.
