Instead of sulking over how everything comes to a standstill during power outages, he says we can use that time to unlearn our old ways of doing things and perhaps even find a new hobby.
Are you used to frying or boiling your eggs? How about you actually eat them raw? Try new things, like having your coffee cold instead of hot. How about a cold bath or shower? Toast? Well, ditch that.
