President Cyril Ramaphosa slammed for 'white counterparts' engagement
President Cyril Ramaphosa and the ANC have been lambasted after a letter headlined "ANC president in conversation with our white counterparts" was posted by the ruling party.
The letter was posted by the ANC on a media WhatsApp group and soon went viral after it was shared on social media.
DA leader Mmusi Maimane posted the letter, accusing Ramaphosa of causing division among South Africans.
An updated letter was then sent on the WhatsApp group, but colour continued to dominate conversation.
"White counterparts" really Mr President?

Why are you determined to divide us along the basis of race? This thinking belongs in the past and is an insult to the mission of building a truly non-racial #OneSAforAll.
It proves how you're out of touch with what it requires. pic.twitter.com/2dZHopsMu0
Its infuriating, how can there ever be unity in SA when leaders insist on colour coding the citizens

Great time to be white. We represent such a small portion of the population yet so influential. Always in the media. Feels like we part of the Avengers. The super humans! 😂

Truly shocking. Yet the theme is about building bridges. What a joke the ANC has become.
