For 13 years Ashlesha Raghubir tried to fall pregnant and was told she had no hope of giving birth because of an extremely rare condition.
But now she is the first woman in SA to give birth after using a new technique using platelet-rich plasma to stimulate the stem cells inside her ovaries into growing into eggs.
