Gauteng’s brand new multimillion-rand “smart school” that was unveiled with great fanfare in January has only two laptops catering for nearly 1,000 pupils.

This was confirmed by Gauteng education spokesperson Steve Mabona after complaints from parents and teachers at Centurion Primary School.
