Convicts leave the cops for dust ... and everyone’s happy about it

They beat the police (twice) and the home defenders, but there was no escape for Overberg’s soccer team of convicts when they came up against the Young Pirates of Heideveld in Cape Town.

A 10-1 drubbing in the Western Cape playoffs in Beaufort West in June ended an unlikely dream run for the prison team from Caledon.
