Abuse, exploitation, ripoffs are always on the menu for SA waiters

“The manager made her stand on a chair in front of all the waiters and asked her if she was a virgin.”
This is one of the responses to a Times Select Facebook request for South Africans’ experiences as waiters – and according to a labour lawyer it is typical of many cases he handles.
