SA ‘fraudster and fugitive’ tries to get out of jail

SA businessman Tim Marsland – alleged to have fleeced nearly R280m from Botswana’s Public Officers Pension Fund – will remain behind bars pending an extradition hearing.

SA businessman Tim Marsland – alleged to have fleeced nearly R280m from Botswana’s Public Officers Pension Fund – will remain behind bars pending an extradition hearing.

Marsland’s fresh bid to secure his liberty was stopped in its tracks by the magistrate.
