Businessman faces huge bill after 23rd failed bid to keep mansion

Three court judgments involving a litigious Cape Town businessman have brought the score to 23-0 in favour of the liquidators of one of his companies.

Three court judgments involving a litigious Cape Town businessman have brought the score to 23-0 in favour of the liquidators of one of his companies.

In his long legal fight Gary van der Merwe has been rebuffed by the high, supreme and constitutional courts – and in the latest cases the judge was scathing.
