Judge slams policewomen for humiliating man in women’s month arrest

Thirty policewomen handcuffed a father who had missed a maintenance court hearing and sang Wathint’ abafazi, wathint’ imbokodo (You strike a woman, you strike a rock) as they marched him out of his office in the city centre.

Now the incident has cost the police R75,000.
