A Joburg girls’ high school has come up with an innovative way of keeping its pupils busy after they finish their final exams: 20 hours of community service.

So, while pupils across SA have either been ditching school for the mall after writing their last paper, these kids have been working at the zoo, children’s homes, old-age homes and the SPCA.
