Apartheid cops to testify at new Neil Aggett inquest

An inquest into the death of trade union leader and labour activist Dr Neil Aggett, found found that no one was to blame for his death, but a new inquest into his death has been reopened.

Tears well in Jill Burger’s eyes when she speaks of her brother, Neil Aggett, a trade unionist who died allegedly at the hands of the security police in 1982.

Burger is back in SA for her brother’s death, and although Aggett’s chief interrogator has died, she expects the truth to come out.
