Aggett’s sister turns away in tears as his death is re-enacted

It was the first time Jill Burger had been in the cell in which her brother, trade unionist Dr Neil Aggett, died.

And her anguish was visible as she watched as a young man tied a noose around the steel bars of one of the cells, attempting to reenact her brother’s supposed suicide.
