Blade swats away demand for extra money for failing students

Higher education minister Blade Nzimande has rejected demands by a student union that those who fail to complete their studies within the stipulated time be awarded a further two years of funding to complete it.

This comes after the union rejected “the exclusionary policy of N+1” when it relates to NSFAS funding.
