Western Cape Judge President John Hlophe says Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng’s recommendation that he face an impeachment inquiry is potentially driven by anti-Muslim sentiment.

His lawyer also flags Mogoeng’s "pro-Zionist political statements" in a rant to the Judicial Service Commission.
