Two more suspects were arrested in Mbombela in Mpumalanga overnight in connection with the murder of Hillary Gardee.
Mpumalanga police commissioner Lt-Gen Semakaleng Manamela expressed her appreciation for the energy and commitment shown by the team investigating the case. So far three suspects have been arrested.
“This is encouraging. As we indicated, there were other people of interest we were following and interviewing. Through our investigation, which is continuing, we were able to come out with information that we fully believe the two are the right suspects” she said.
The two join the 39-year-old suspect arrested on Friday in Schoemansdal (Nkomazi) in Mpumalanga.
