With the Easter weekend upon us, the nation is split on how to approach the break. While for some it is a time for connection and travel, the economic climate is clearly casting a long shadow over holiday plans for many others.
The economic reality has made traditional travel plans unfeasible for many South Africans and the “holiday” has been replaced by household management. For some the long weekend is an opportunity to get ahead. Whether it’s picking up extra shifts at work or tackling a mountain of admin, productivity is the name of the game.
