A man was stabbed in an alleged road rage incident in Springfield, Durban, on Friday morning.
Several paramedics responded to calls for assistance at the intersection of Peters Road and the Inanda Highway, outside the China Mall in Durban.
“Upon arrival, it was established that an altercation had allegedly occurred between two motorists. During the incident, one of the drivers reportedly exited his vehicle and stabbed the other driver,” said KZN VIP Medical Emergency Services.
The injured motorist, who is said to be in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and suffered significant blood loss before the arrival of emergency medical services.
He was stabilised and taken to hospital.
Police who responded to the incident arrested the second motorist.
