A group of 15 to 20 individuals has attacked a police precinct in central Athens with firebombs, burning 2 motorcycles before escaping on foot.

Police say a total of 10 firebombs were thrown Saturday at the precinct, but the fires were put out quickly. Of the two motorcycles, one belonged to the police and the other to a civilian.

No injuries and no arrests were reported.

Police precincts often come under attack by violent anarchists, mostly with firebombs. On rare occasions, firearms have been used and police have been injured.
