The very happy meal - couple finds odd herb on their McDonald's burger

An Iowa couple claim that their McDonald's meal included a very interesting herb between the patties - what appears to be marijuana.

According to ABC News, a man decided to buy a McDouble for his pregnant fiancé in Des Moines, only to find it was closer to a McDoobie.

When the couple took a bite of their cheeseburgers they found a strange substance that smelt and tasted like marijuana.

The two contacted the local police who agreed it appeared to be the infamous weed, but sent it to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation just to make sure.

The cops also want to figure out how it got between the patties.

No charges have been filed and the McDonald's remains open for now.
