A dump truck crashed and burst into flames - and it was all caught on camera.
In footage released by the North Texas Tollway Authority, the truck can be seen crashing into a barrier wall along Highway 360 near Dallas-Forth Worth on Tuesday. A stream of flames erupts from beneath the truck, stretching back along the highway.
According to local news outlet the Star-Telegram, the crash was caused when a Chrysler PT Cruiser stopped in the middle of the newly opened tollway lanes and started backing up. Several vehicles, including the dump truck, swerved to miss the vehicle.
The truck hit the wall so hard the front end of the cab was completely knocked off its mounts.
No one was seriously injured in the accident.
Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman, Lieutenant Lonny Haschel, said the driver of the Chrysler will receive a ticket for interfering with public safety and for not having liability insurance.
