Seventeenth-century paintings stolen from Oxford University

An irreplaceable 17th-century painting by Flemish artist Anthony van Dyck has been stolen from an art gallery at the University of Oxford, reported BBC.
The 1616 painting, A Soldier On Horseback, was stolen with two other high-value classical artworks from the Christ Church Picture Gallery in St Aldates.
Thames Valley police are conducting a “thorough investigation” to track the cultural artefacts.
