The cooling towers at Rugeley Power Station in Staffordshire, England, were brought down in a controlled demolition.
The coal-fired power plant was closed in 2016. People gathered to watch as the landmark came down after dominating the skyline for 53 years.
The future of the site is low carbon housing and workspace.
