UK not complacent on inflation, finance minister Hunt says after bigger than expected fall

British finance minister Jeremy Hunt says the government is not complacent after annual consumer price inflation fell to a lower than expected 7.9% in June.

British finance minister Jeremy Hunt says the government is not complacent after annual consumer price inflation fell to a lower than expected 7.9% in June.

“Inflation is falling and stands at its lowest level since last March; but we aren't complacent,” Hunt said on Wednesday.
