TimesLIVE – South Africa's second-biggest news website, published by Arena Holdings and launched in 2009 – is the home of the group's Sunday Times newspaper and daily digital newsroom, providing breaking news, analysis, sport, entertainment and lifestyle seven days a week.

Our website has a responsive design, making it easy to read on mobile devices. We offer quality reporting throughout the day, breaking the news with stories, email newsletters, and multimedia.

All TimesLIVE content is free to read, except for most articles on the Sunday Times website housed within TimesLIVE, which is reserved for subscribers. These include TimesLIVE Premium articles published on weekdays.

Readers who register on the TimesLIVE or Sunday Times website – it's quick and free – can comment on selected articles and subscribe to a range of email newsletters.

Readers who subscribe to the Sunday Times have access to all premium Sunday Times and TimesLIVE Premium content online, which includes in-depth investigative reporting, news, analysis and SA's best columnists, as well as lifestyle, sport and entertainment. First published on February 4 1906, the Paper for the People has become an institution in South Africa and an essential weekend read throughout the country. It has earned a reputation for producing hard-hitting, relevant, independent, well-written and authoritative news, particularly on the political front.
