Gauteng doesn’t use lifestyle audits to fight corruption: DA

The Gauteng government has never used lifestyle audits to detect possible corruption. That’s according to Premier David Makhura’s reply on Tuesday to questions posed to him by the Democratic Alliance’s Jack Bloom in the legislature.Bloom said Makhura explained “that the provincial government had no force of law to conduct such audits‚ unlike the National Prosecuting Authority and the SA Revenue Service”.
