Tshwane metro police threaten to detain DA members if march goes ahead

The Tshwane Metro Police have rescinded permission for the Democratic Alliance to stage a protest march on Wednesday and have threatened to intervene and detain the party’s members if they proceed with the march‚ according to the DA mayoral candidate for Tshwane Solly Msimanga. He said this is after the City of Tshwane declined on Monday to send an official to accept a memorandum from the DA against the deplorable state of water delivery in Hammanskraal‚ intended for handover at the march.
