DA requests urgent Parliamentary Oversight Authority briefing on Parly ‘spooks’

The Democratic Alliance is to demand an urgent briefing by the Parliamentary Oversight Authority in the wake of media reports of further State Security Agency (SSA) parliamentary interference‚ allegedly at the current Secretary to Parliament Gengezi Mgidlana’s request. DA deputy chief whip Mike Waters said on Sunday reports of SSA interference were of grave concern and required drastic intervention.
