DA to honour activist Blackburn with ‘rememberance imbizo’

The Democratic Alliance in the Eastern Cape will use the Day of Reconciliation public holiday to honour progressive pioneer Molly Blackburn. The party’s mayoral candidate for Nelson Mandela Bay‚ Athol Trollip‚ said “a rememberance imbizo” will be held at the Lillian Ngoyi Hall in Kwazakhele.He described Blackburn as having “dedicated her life to reconciliation and fought tirelessly to end apartheid”.
