Move budget debate so Gordhan can attend‚ says DA

Minister of Finance Pravin Gordhan will not be attending the parliamentary debate on the budget on Wednesday‚ the DA said. Gordhan is abroad on an investor roadshow and will not attend the debate on the fiscal framework in Parliament.While the DA approved the wooing of investors‚ it said it was unacceptable that the minister would not be debating his plans to avoid a ratings downgrade.
