DA to announce Ekurhuleni mayoral candidate

The Democratic Alliance (DA) will on Tuesday announce its mayoral candidate for Ekurhuleni. The opposition party said the African National Congress’ “support in Ekurhuleni has been declining‚ with a significant drop in votes between 2009 (67.5%) and 2014 (55.07%)”.“This decline‚ along with the continued service delivery protests across the metro‚ indicates that the residents of Ekurhuleni is ready for change‚” the DA added.
