Charge of treason against Malema must be ‘seriously pursued’: SACP

A charge of treason against Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema must be “seriously pursued”‚ the South African Communist Party says. In a May Day (Workers’ Day) message on Sunday‚ the SACP said it didn’t think Malema knew “one end of a gun-barrel from the other” but that didn’t make his threat of civil war any less sinister.
