Justice and Correctional Services Minister appoints four chief magistrates

Justice and Correctional Services Minister Michael Masutha has appointed four chief magistrates to fill vacancies at four magistrates’ courts. The appointees are Daniel Thulare (Cape Town)‚ Edmund Bhekumthetho Ngubane (Durban)‚ Elmarie de Klerk (Palm Ridge) and Yoliswa Puleng Sidlova (Randburg). Masutha made these appointments following the recommendation made by the Magistrates Commission‚ which is chaired by Judge Francis Legodi.
