DA’s metro mayoral hopefuls to give joint briefing

The mayoral candidate for the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) big prizes in August’s local government elections will on Tuesday “brief the media on the extent of financial mismanagement under the African National Congress (ANC) in their metro municipalities". Appearing for the opposition will be Nelson Mandela Bay’s Athol Trollip‚ Johannesburg’s Herman Mashaba‚ Tshwane’s Solly Msimanga and Ekurhuleni’s Ghaleb Cachalia.
