DA to lay charges against Nelson Mandela metro’s security boss

Democratic Alliance (DA) Nelson Mandela Bay mayoral candidate Athol Trollip has accused the Eastern Cape government and the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) of protecting metro safety boss Linda Mti from prosecution. During a press conference at the DA’s provincial office in Port Elizabeth‚ Trollip‚ flanked by MP and DA federal executive chairman James Selfe‚ tabled what the party said was documentary evidence of a cover-up by state agencies to protect Mti.
