A farmer has been appointed as the new director general of the Department of Agriculture‚ Forestry and Fisheries‚ the department said on Friday.Mzamo Michael Mlengana‚ better known as Mike‚ was also the president of African Farmer's Association of South Africa‚ which consists of smallholder farmers.
