ANC councillor candidate in KZN shot dead

The African National Congress has confirmed that one of their councillor candidates for Newcastle in Kwazulu-Natal‚ Thembi Mbongwa‚ was shot dead on Saturday night. ANC spokesman Mdumiseni Ntuli in Kwazulu-Natal said Mbongwa was killed in front of her husband and children at her home."We are saddened and devastated by the news of comrade Mbongwa who was shot at her home in front of her family.
