ANC says one of its supporters attacked with panga in Pongola

The Independent Electoral Commission in KwaZulu-Natal and police could not confirm an alleged panga attack on an ANC supporter outside a polling station in Pongola‚ northern KwaZulu-Natal. The ruling party said in a statement on Wednesday afternoon that a perpetrator walked up to a victim‚ who was awaiting his turn in a queue to cast his vote‚ and hacked him on the upper body before fleeing the scene.
