Robben Island voters missed the boat

The voting station on Robben Island was expected to be the first in the Western Cape to release its results. This was dependent on about 100 people casting their votes by 4:30pm on Wednesday‚ so that ballot boxes could be loaded on to the last ferry to the mainland. But the ballots missed the boat because some voters missed that deadline.
