The battle for the position of executive mayor of the City of Johannesburg has begun. The two candidates vying for the city’s top post are the ANC incumbent‚ Parks Tau‚ and the Democratic Alliance’s Herman Mashaba.Voting is scheduled to begin soon as the battle to decide who will run the country’s economic hub continues well into the afternoon.
