‘We don’t want to lose soldiers in our first war’ - #OccupyLuthuliHouse organisers tone down protest

South African Polices Service officers‚ metro cops‚ private security and uniformed Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans' Association cadres set up a watchful perimeter ahead of the #OccupyLuthuliHouse on Monday morning. But they will meet with a much smaller crowd of protesters than expected‚ as the organisers said they had decided to tone down the march in the face of threats issued by the African National Congress’ (ANC) leagues.
