Cope lays charge against ‘loose cannon’ Maine for ‘bring your guns’ comment

African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) president Collen Maine may need to bring in the legal guns after the Congress of the People (Cope) opened a criminal complaint against him on Sunday. The party said it “laid a charge of incitement of violence after Maine called on Umkhonto we Sizwe veterans to take up arms to defend the revolution on 15 October 2016 in Ethekweni” in Pretoria.
