ANC stalwart gets an official funeral

Bongi Ntuli‚ who participated in the Convention for a Democratic South Africa and served as a deputy minister for two departments‚ will be given a special official funeral‚ President Jacob Zuma said on Friday. Ntuli died on Saturday‚ 22 October in Pretoria after a long illness.She served as an MP and was the deputy minister of social development and of trade and industry. She also served on the national executive committee of the ANC Women’s League and on a number of committees.Zuma has ordered that the national flag at all flag stations in the country be flown at half-mast.
