ANC attacks DA for questioning Zwane’s appointment of 'empowered black woman' as deputy DG

Questions over Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane's controversial appointment of a female deputy director-general in an acting position were based on the fact that she was a woman and were anti-transformation‚ ANC MPs claimed in Parliament on Wednesday. Zwane appeared before Parliament's mineral resources committee to explain his appointment of his chief of staff Sepati Dlamini as acting deputy director-general of mineral policy in the department.
