Several thousand supporters joined together under the #UniteBehind banner to march to parliament in Cape Town on 7 August 2017 afternoon ahead of the vote for the motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma.

After marches for and against President Jacob Zuma on Tuesday, for the first time members of the National Assembly cast votes by secret ballot on a motion of no confidence in a sitting president.
