WATCH | Shots fired! Julius Malema responds to Twitter trolls

EFF leader Julius Malema has hit back at social media users who criticised him after a video surfaced of him allegedly drunk at a party. 

Malema claims the video is being used to divert attention away from another video - the sex tape featuring home affairs minister Malusi Gigaba.

"You take a video of Julius Malema dancing, enjoying himself, hoping that dance will replace 'porn star'. Never!"

"We are not playing with ourselves, we are playing music baba!"

Twitter was divided on the video allegedly showing Malema drunk. Some defended him, saying that there was nothing wrong with him being drunk or questioning whether he was drinking alcohol at all.

Others criticised him after he previously claimed he no longer drinks alcohol.
